I am back for breakfast!

Writer's picture: Lina GoatsmithLina Goatsmith

Today I was waiting by the gate as usual for my private dining experience. But Dad was off his game and failed to put out my usual 3 course meal of goat grain on the left, pellets in the middle, and sunflower seed on the right. Slow service today! I had to keep pointing my nose thru the places where the bowls are supposed to be. Despite my... "At-Large" status, I always eat a well rounded combination of foods. I will even leave grain and seed in the bowl to eat some of Snickerdoodle's low calorie timothy hay.

After breakfast, I casually looked to see if there was a banana peel on the chair but Dad had put it out of reach and then gave it to the other goats.

Since the Free Lina Movement spans geographic distances not familiar with current weather reports, we must question the use of the word "mote." This kind of mote is small, dust particle sized and completely insufficient to reflect the resplendent magnificence* of the exalted Lina. An insignificant amount of rainfall would create a mote or droplet on the ground.

A significant amount of rainfall might create a pool or moat about Lina's abode. This moat however, might be an acceptable substitute to a reflecting pool if Lina is provided with a gondola so that she may ply the waters surrounding her domain.

(* term borrowed from the Department of Redundancy Department.)

Dear intothewoods32,

Please be patient. One or two days more of this rain and the Linamahal reflecting pool that you have been requesting shall be completed. But be careful of what you wish for. Another couple of additional days of rain and the reflecting pool will turn into a mote.

The Free Lina Movement is concerned about the allowances of tree root dessert vs. even one third of a banana peel (assuming peel strip into thirds most of the time). It seems to us that a banana peel offers more nutritional value for the exalted Lina. Not only are we continuing to request a reflecting pool by the entrance of the Linamahal, but now a third of a banana peel, at minimum--and, btw, not the woody stem offered to the "regular" goats.
