Lukey figured out that if he put his nose between the slats into the feed room and wiggled his nose back and forth, dad would give him an orchard grass pellet. Then Joy, Ella, and Hope joined in. Ella is bigger than the rest so she goes one slat higher to avoid competition. Dad always feeds them pellets right to left and they always line up in the same order with Lukey on the right so he gets the first pellet. But after a time Lukey figured out he could double dip. After standing on the right end and getting his pellet, be goes to the left end while Hope, Joy, and Ella get theirs, then Lukey gets another on the left and then dashes back to the right end for another, In the last segment of the video, you see Joy sticking her nose thru the stall door latch access. As the feed room door closes, she aligns her nose with the slats in the door so no one can slip into her position.
